"What game are you best at?"

'Ahhhhh duuuude, I'm like so good at so m-' No.   Stop.   There is a game that exists that I have reached the maximum echelon of skill with.  Enough that when my mom saw me playing it one time, it sparked a very serious conversation about why I'm so good at this, but so awful at school work. Honestly, it makes me look autistic, more than a little bit. And not in a good way.  But I fucking love this game.

The game I'm talking about is none other than Stepmania.  The Advanced Rhythm Simulator. It's DDR, yeah, in case you caught that.  But when it was introduced to me I was still in boarding school, and neither my friend nor I had a USB connectable dance pad.  So we used the next best thing, the keyboards.

Developing a one handed system of playing (we later find out that the tiny community of stepmania nerds usually play with two.) so we could both play at the same time.  And playing every single evening we soon got faster and faster, until we were hitting notes on instinct and rhythm analysis. Ad it's really fucking fun.
